To me, effective facilitation is mostly about effective listening and asking good questions. I generally work in the style of neutral facilitation, placing equal value on all voices in a room in order to help groups connect, or reconnect, with shared values, goals and aspirations. I am not without opinions or ideas, but experience has led me to understand that the road to sustainable, positive action is best paved by the people who will be traveling it over the longer term. In that context, I see myself as a guide and occasional mapmaker.

Facilitation clients have included the A New Direction, Creative Partnerships, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, RSA Academies, the Refugee Legal Service, Warwick University (Center for Teacher Education), and the Swedish International Liberal Centre.
