Training and Facilitation
I design and deliver training programmes for schools, universities, and non-profit organisations. I often work at the intersection of the arts and education, supporting teachers to use arts-based tools and ideas and helping artists translate their practice for the benefit of schools. Notable training and facilitation work includes:
Paul Hamlyn Foundation
I currently co-design and facilitate the learning programme for the Foundation’s Teacher Development Fund, which since 2016 has paired arts organisations with schools across the United Kingdom to find arts-led teaching approaches to reducing educational inequity.
Deepening Creative Practice
I supported the Tavistock Institute for Human Relations to deliver the first two years of this global programme that melds social science and the arts in support of innovative organisational development.
Creative Partnerships Lithuania
Working with Creativity Culture and Education, I trained hundreds of creative professionals to work through the arts in Lithuanian schools in this national programme running from 2011-2015. Work in this vein continues with the Lithuanian arts company, Kurybines Jungtyes.
Other training and facilitation clients include Arts Council England, A New Direction, Clowns Without Borders UK, RSA Academies, the Public Law Project, Aftec (Hong Kong), the Swedish International Liberal Centre, University College London (UCL), and Royal Opera House Bridge. I am also an Associate with the award-winning creative training company, The Map Consortium, and with them have worked on projects for Unilever, Royal Opera House, and Investec.
